Miccostumes: Erza Scarlett grand magic games cosplay&wig review

Hey everyone,

today i will write my first review for the onlineshop Miccostumes.

It is a store for cosplays, wigs and accessories.

I found this store via Twitter and after i took a look, i realized that they have a lot of costumes i would like to cosplay for a really good prize (They often have special offers, for example for christmas atm)

Decided to go for Erza Scarlettes grand magic game version.

And here comes one feature i never seen at any other store and i really like this a lot.
Miccostumes offers discounts when you buy a combination of the cosplay you would like to purchase, so if you buy cosplay,wig and shoes, you get a discount.

So i tooked the combination with the wig and a tattoo.
There is a size chart on the page aswell, but i would recommend to take your normale clothing size, you will see later why.
Shipping at that moment was free and it arrived 2 weeks after i ordered it.

I ordered it in size Medium but after i tried it on, i found out it was way to big, wasn`t a big problem for me, i just sew more darts in it or fixed the ones that where already sewn in.
So for everyone who can`t resew a bought cosplay i would really recommend to order the size you normally wear.

Here can you see how it lookes after the adjustment.
So about the quality, i never ever had such a well made cosplay before.
The coat has a black lining in it, the fairytail symbol is made out of fake leather so it will not fade out and everything is sewed so well!

Finally time for a photoshooting, this time again i worked together with SR-Photography, because i think we are a great team ;)

As you can see everything looks exactly as it was shown in the shop so you can be sure to get the product you saw there.
The wig has a good quality, very thick and heat resistant.
Sadly i didn`t purchase the shoes aswell, but i will definitly do this the next time i buy something from Miccostumes!

I know some people might not like the way the armor parts looks like, but there is simply no way to offer fitting armor parts for everyone out of thermoplast to make it look a bit more realistic, so even here i would say they have done well.
For my personal taste i will redo them, but i do understand that there is no way to sell such things (the shipping would be hella expensive aswell).

Already purchased another costume form Miccostumes, this time in size S and it fits perfectly

This time it was Lucy`s turn

When it gets a bit warmer outside and i have some photos of the cosplay in action, i will review this aswell so stay tuned.

Cute Japanese Fashion: Item Review 04

This time the review will be about this cute grey skater shirt and the grey-silver bob wig you may know from the former post about the ghibli leggings.

I choosed these two items, because i could imagine that you can combine both of them pretty well and i was pretty statisfied with the outcome.

Sadly the skirt is not longer avaidable in the store, but there are many other cute skirts and the cute japanese fashion page owns a own section for skirts, which you can find here .

The skirt itself is high waisted and even wearable, if you combine it with high heels your legs will look endless.

As you can see, the skirt is exactly like it was shown in the shop, which is overall a big plus for this store, since i never had an item that didn`t looked like it was supposed to.

As personaly exeprience for this skirt i have to say, that it`s perfect for the autumn season of a year.

The fabric is very stoff, unfortunately there is no label so i can`t tell you what fabric was used here.

For me this skirt is definitly one of my favorite pieces for a fancy autumn outfit.

Let`s continue with the wig, as you can see it is a longer grey bob wig with silver tips.

All wigs you can buy at cute japanese fashion are heat resistent, which mean you can easily iron them (Please just use an low adjustment of your straigthener!)

Every wig i own for this shop is very thick so you never see the meshes, which is a huge plus.

If you live in europe the shipping is really fast, so you will receive your order mostly after a maximum of a week.

A lot of cosplayer knows the touble of waiting for their wigs or making a spontaneous cosplay, so a fast shipping is another plus point.

Cute Japanese Fashion: Item Review 03

Hello long time not seen,

sorry for beeing a bit absent on my blog, i will change that the next weeks!

Today i will review the Ghibli leggings from Cute Japanese Fashion.

As soon as this awesome leggings was back in stock, i couldn`t restist to purchase it.

First let me say, that i am usually not the biggest fan of leggings, but the Ghibli and The Legend of Zelda ones were just to good, so even i couldn`t resist.

Studio Ghibli Leggings

Most of the leggings from this store are about £8.99-£9.99, which is in my opinion a very fair price.

The shipping was about 6 days [to another european country].

I had a little fashion photoshooting with SR-Photography, so you can see how this leggings looks on a person and with natural light.

After my package arrived i tried both leggings on and fall in love with this one.

The amount of Ghibli characters on this one is insane, sadly i can`t name them all, since the names are not always the same in english.

My overall favorite here would be still Calcifer from Howl`s Mowing Castle which is printed on the backside of the leggings

Even after wearing them pretty often the colors are still nice and nothing washed out.
If this beautiful leggings would not last longer, i would even purchase this one again.

This leggings got my full recomendation and is a must have for every (probably mostly female) Ghibli fan!♡

Purple Ombre Wig

I will start with this great purple ombre wig, i didn`t cut the bangs i just leave it like it was and it fits me perfectly.

The  color gradient of this wig is so beautiful, the lenght is 60 cm and it is heat resistant, which means you can easly straighten and curl it.

On our little photoshooting it was very windy, but the wig was easy to brush even after this day.

Black Chiffon Skater Dress

The next one is this beautiful, little black chiffon dress.

I totally fall in love with this one and i bet you can see why by looking on this photo.

This is the dress most women would call "little black dress"  and we all have a dress like this in our wardrobe.

Even for a taller person like me, 1,73 m, it has a perfect lenght and isn`t to short. It is made out of chiffon and lace and you can get it in the sizes 8-10 (UK sizes).

I really love this skater skirt part it is very flittering.

Heart Pattern Sweater Coat

The last item in this revies is this cute coat, perfectly for this colder season.

It has a fluffy, grey lining and is warming you up even when it's very windy.

The coat is heart patternd and very twee and i really like it

After all i really recommend Cute Japanese Fashion  and it is one of my favorite stores for wigs and dresses.

Cosplay Sky: Sayaka Miki Kimono Costume Cosplay & Wig

Hello everyone,

today i will review my Sayaka Miki kimono cosplay, you maybe know from my facebook page.

Both, costume and wig, are from Cosplay Sky , an online store for handmade cosplays costumes based in China.

They really have a nice contact, because this cosplay you see here, wasn`t in the shop before, i`ve asked them if they maybe will add Sayakas and Kyokos kimono version too (because they had the other 3s already) and they replied fast and after searching for references, they did the other kimonos.

An really amazing offer, so if you search for something special and they don`t have it (they got a huge variety of cosplay costumes and wigs, but no store can have all) please just write them an E-Mail and ask for a comission :)

The shipping was about 15 days and i am so pleased with this cosplay! 

 Puella Magi Madoka Magica Sayaka Miki Kimono Costume Cosplay

I really wanted to cosplay Sayaka Miki for a long time and after i saw those awesome kimono versions Figuya came up with, i fell in love.

After a short conversation with the Cosplaysky's E-Mail support and the okay that they will make it, i was really happy.

The quality of the other kimonos from Madoka, Homura and Mami look so good and the price-performance ratio is incredible.

Everyone who knew how to sew a kimono, knows how much fabric you will need and with the fabric color it would be far more expensive then it is, so i choosed to buy this one.

As you can see in the photo, the kimono looks exactly the way it looks in the store and this point is so important, if you buy from an online shop, that the product photos are made by the store itself and i can say; Cosplay Sky is a store where you get what you see!

I am so flashed about the quality that i only can recommend the shop and the cosplays and wigs they sell.

It was tailor made for my measurments and it fits me so well.

For this under kimono and all other fabric parts with a swatch i can tell you it is not printed, it is weaved into the fabrics, really an awesome feature, because you can wash it without any fear that the print might fade away.

It is a really comfortable cosplay and even in autum i didn`t freeze.

 The only critic point i have is, that because Sayaka has this sash i woudl add an instruction of how to wear this costume right.

It is a little bit difficult to put everything on, i would reccomend someone who can help you with dressing up.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica Miki Sayaka Cosplay Wig

I ordered this costume with the matching wig for Sayaka.

The wig is really thick and heat resistent, which i prefer for my wigs.

It came with a wig cap.

After my friend, Rin Cosplay, helped me with cutting the wig, i only need to style the bang and as you can see, add the hairpins, i am very statisfied with this wig.

My conclusion for this whole costume is, it is amazing. 

I am super happy with everything, it fits me perfectly, the shipping was fast, it is custom made and definitly one of my favorite cosplay of the year 2015!

Here is one of the store photos for this product, i choose it because i really got a crush on cute dresses and love wide skirts.

It`s avaidable in the UK size 8-10, for everybody who is insecure which size you have there is a size guide under every product description.

There went something wrong with my order i contacted the store via facebook and got a really fast and nice reply. The shipment from UK to Europe costs £6.40 and my package arrived 5 days after i purchased it.

It`s made out of cotton and polyester and it`s really comfortable and a great dress for autumn season.

You could perfectly wear it with leggings or thicker tights.

The great thing about this store is, that there is a size information about the length of the dresses too.

After i wore it the first time i could definitly say this will be my favorite dress this season, the lumberjack look is adorable and the waist ribbon make a beautiful waistline.

I don`t have a single negative criticpoint for this store, the price-performance ratio is very good,

the contact too and the quality of the clothes is excellent.

Cosplay review: Supergirl

Hello everybody,

today i will review my Supergirl cosplay, which i bought from Herostime. 
Herostime is a online store for superhero costumes.

I never bought from a shop, who has such a good support, they answered my questions fast and so accurate. The cosplay is custom-made and the shipping took only a week. 

 New Supergirl DC Comics Female Superhero Costume

This is how the cosplay is offered in the store, but i have asked the costumer service if they are able to change the skirt color into the same blue, like the top. The positiv answere to my request came within a day.

Here you can see the costume i get,with the blue skirt and without the gold border of the top, it was custom made so it fits me perfectly.

The cosplay is made of Spandex / Lycra and i wore it on an event with over 33°C so i can recommend it for convention in summer.

 The cape is easy to get on and off it`s attached with one snap-fastener on each side of the top. Sadly i don`t took a photo of the topcoat stockings for the shoes, but you can easly cover almost every shoe you have with them, because they are elastic.

This is the size chart for female costumes, so if you don`t want to get a custom-made costume; which is for free, you can easily chose one of the sizes they offer.

The colors are exactly like the ones shown on the page. The shipping costs are with 20$ really high but if you order is above 60$ you get free international shipping. The shipment to germany took them not even a whole week. 

For me Herostime is one of my favorite online stores and i really can recommend it.

This store has also often special offers for the costumers,5$ for a photo review of there products and a daily login bonus of 0,5$.
